What are the repercutions if liberal network NBC is sold to Comcast?

Who is Comcast owned by? This has the potiential to really alter the politcal landscape.What are the repercutions if liberal network NBC is sold to Comcast?
good questionWhat are the repercutions if liberal network NBC is sold to Comcast?
I think you mean ';repurcussions.';

Comcast is owned by the same people who generally own General Electric--shareholders.

According to Yahoo! Finance, 81% of Comcast stock is held by institutional investors, like mutual funds and state pension funds. Half of all General Electric stock is owned by institutional shareholders, so GE is more widely-held than Comcast. No one person holds more than 5% of either company.

I don't think you have a clear sense of what it means to ';own'; a publicly-traded corporation. Corporate CEOs are not the owners of the corporation, although they may hold stock.
Isn't that a sad question?

I will buy shares of any network that will play Century of the Self in primetime.

That would be something folks need to hear to stop the goddamn manipulation.
That would be the best thing that could happen to a failing network. Its not just NBC but MSNBC and a few other channels, and Comcast's CEO is a republican.
By ';liberal,'; I suppose you mean consistent with reality? (Unlike conservative make-believe, fabrication, artificial outrage and non-existent scandal invention.)
Well if NBC is sold then General Electric won't have that anchor around their necks anymore. Comcast is owned by it's share holders and I am one of them.
Less than being owned by a company (GE) that lobbies our government on everything from finance to health care.
President Obama would not allow the FCC to approve of selling his personal network.
Their viewership finally get about 9?
