What profession is there for a liberal arts graduate?

This person was only able to earn a liberal arts degree and could not further for personal reasons. he is 60 years old and wants to help others in need. Any suggestions as to a profession that he may get into? What profession is there for a liberal arts graduate?
Try checking on nonprofit jobs and looking up jobs strictly for liberal arts majors. Also, very important....check with the school he received his degree from. They usually assist in job placement! Good luck!

That answer below mine is dumb. I just got my degree in political science and decided not to go to law school...you don't have to KNOW exactly what you're gonna do before college! Most DONT!What profession is there for a liberal arts graduate?
The standing joke for LA degree holders is to go back to college as a professional student and get a REAL degree.

The more serious answer is that because of the broad knowledge a LA degree provides--and with a LOT of luck--the holder can move into strategic planning for large businesses.

Another serious answer is to teach. Once--before doctorates became all the rage--a LA bachelor could get a teaching position at a junior college. That's rare today--so plan to go back and get a masters and then a doctorate--and THEN teach.

Why didn't you ask yourself this question before--tell us again?
There are many roads you can take with a liberal arts degree. Here's an article from CareerBuilder.com that may help you decide:

He can serve as an example for others. He can speak on why you should choose a career before you get a degree and not after!
