What is the most conserative and liberal News sources in this country?

I want to get both extremes when i read the news. a republican and a democrat slant. Can anyone tell me which news i should turn to for each?What is the most conserative and liberal News sources in this country?
I tried that, it doesn't work very well since they select different stories to tell. Each station finds what best emphasises their point of view then tells that story. As an example CNN is really down on illegal immigration, but to get the other side you may need to listen to msm or big 3 stations for some time to get the story.





I gave up TV and Newspaper news except for the first 5 minutes to know what ';important';happened today, then get magazines to get in depth of issues. National Review for conservative, and Mother Jones for liberal. Even then some articles in both are hard to swallow.What is the most conserative and liberal News sources in this country?
Conservative = Fox


Liberal = CNN and NY TImes
Liberal:


The Village Voice ( a NYC newspaper)


Pacifica Radio Network (stations are available on I-Tunes)


Conservative:


New York Daily News (Newspaper).


Sean Hannity Radio Show (syndicated on many radio stations).


Please understand that these are conservative and liberal sources. Also understand that there are elected officials in both parties who may be the opposite of what the ';conventional wisdom'; says their party affiliation demands.
The New York Times does NOT report the news with a ';liberal slant.'; The Times is known as a liberal media organization because of its liberal editorial policies. Editorials and news are different animals...something that is being forgotten by some of these media critics who are decrying a ';liberal media.';





This is bullshit, folks. I am a journalist and have been one for 35 years. My politics do not enter into my work. I report the news fairly no matter how it plays into what I believe in my personal life.





Being a journalist is a job. You go in and do it. The idea that reporters and editors are scheming on how to slant the news is ridiculous. We are feeding our families like everyone else.
