How can a government with a liberal president and a liberal congress fix the economy?

Just as easily as a Conservative Congress and President can. Just because we have a liberal government in office, doesn't mean that they are going to be the only ones who are going to fix the issue. It's all of Congress, it's everyone who gets hired by Obama. Both Liberals and Conservatives.How can a government with a liberal president and a liberal congress fix the economy?
I honestly don't know, but I think they should:


1.) To fix the credit crisis I think you should authorize a mass bank write off. What this would do is two things.


1. It would write off all american bad debt in the country...not to mention the banks would save money since they have to pay collectors to recover.


2. it would make each taxpayer responsible for their own mistakes as the IRS would consider this a gift.


3. It would create revenue as each taxpayer would have to pay for these gifts. But not just make this a ';gift'; to the government.


Offer incentive to each person who choses to participate in this a clean slate credit score wise.





Lastly, give another stimulus check :)
By establishing a stronger social infrastructure the population has the freedom and security to develop both home and work environments. This leads to stronger commerce. This leads to higher and more diverse production.





Sure, the paper rich of the wall street casinos may not do as well, but the true wealth of the nation, namely the working folks, will be much better off
That's easy, because it usually has. Democratic presidents are on average better for the economy than Republicans and this has been the case for 80 years now. Essentially, it's because they do a better job of increasing demand.
The ball was in the neo-cons' court for the six years that they controlled congress and the White House also. The difference is that Dems intend to fix the mess this economy is in and now congress will work with the POTUS instead of against.
If the economy is as bad as the media says, then it is impossible for a president with no experience to ';change'; it, especially a liberal one.
First they must round up and get rid of the Big free Spending Republicans who inhabit the Bush Administration! George W. Bush foolishly wasted more taxpayer money than the Democratic presidents, combined! George W. Bush and his supporters are liberal spenders, nothing conservative about those numb nuts!
Just the opposite of how the so-called conservatives ruined it for the last 8 years!





I believe the parties have done the do-si-do once again. That means that they've switched positions on many issues. It tends to happen about every 25 to 30 years.
It is going to be interesting to see if Reid, Pelosi, and Obama are more or less liberal than Bush and Co when it comes to spending. Bush set a high bar, even when you take military spending into account.
Congress can not fix anything, they don't do anything. but get themselves in trouble. they all are crooks and steal money from the tax payers.
Only in la-la land, ,,could that happen.


Remember,,, LIBERALISM IS A MENTAL DISORDER.
Because they have better ideas than Bush and his Congress did.
They can't they are expecting big money companies to do it.
Oh, but that darn George W. and Fox News will probably be the cause of everything negative over the next 4 years...
They will run it into the ground, and then blame it all on George Bush.
NO, there needs to be balance and there is none. Our country is heading for disaster.
