How can a liberal be a Christian when they support abortion and homosexuality?

If anyone can find it in the Bible where it says that abortion and homosexuality is A-OK, then please point it out to me. Other than that, I don't want any baby-killin', Hershey-highway-travelin' leftists telling me about Christianity.





They swear Christians impose their views on them but today's liberal movement practically SUFFOCATES any evangelical movements.





Idiotic, hypocritical Conservatives like Vitter, Foley and Craig disgust me but liberals-- yuck.How can a liberal be a Christian when they support abortion and homosexuality?
I'm surprised they haven't rewritten the bible to serve their own agenda. They're a wayward bunch of people who think that progressiveness is the right direction to take. The bible says nothing about abortion. You think it is murder I don't and that will never change. The Bible is not always right in my opinion and anyway....government and religion do not mix. Any decision made in our government about gay marriage and abortion is made in the name of the law...not religion.
How can a con be ';moral'; when they turn a blind eye to the fact that the USA has the highest teen pregnancy and STD rates on the planet?





How can a con be ';moral'; if they refuse to give teens universal access to contraception, when other countries have much lower instances of teen pregnancy, abortion and STDs?
Well those teachings are in the bible and it would appear they are not following the teachings. In the bible it speaks of lies and people who are luke warm.





NOT judging here but the bible is not selective you must embrace all its teachings to be saved. It would appear the quote liberal Christians are ignoring certain sections of the Bible. This means they are ot following the teachings of the Bible,





and we all know what that means.
Jesus will say to some ';I never knew you.';
most leftists and centerists are kind enough to not force others to accept their views as being the ';right'; ones. They tend to respect people of all colors, religions, sexualities.





Life is so much better when you don't outwardly hate people because of the group you yourself contain them in.
it does seem odd. Christianity is a religion of bigotry, stupidity and oppression. I would be leery of anyone who called themselves a liberal and yet subscribed to such a sick, archaic institution.
Why does everyone pick and chose which one of the sins is worse than the other?





Gossip is mentioned more in the Bible than homosexuality.





Also greed and adultery.





Speaking false truths is mentioned more.





Wrath is also mentioned more.





Where in the Bible does it say that these are A-OK?
WHO ARE YOU TO DETERMINE WHO IS A CHRISTIAN OR NOT!! You are NOT God. I am so tired of people judging other people's beliefs. Thinking your way is the right way and everyone else is wrong. God is loving. He isn't hateful. Instead of spewing your hatefulness, why don't you act like a Christian.

On abortion the thing is many liberals don't believe outlawing abortions is the best way to reduce or prevent them.In all countries where abortion is outlawed they still happen and women die as a result of the illegality.


As countries in Westren Europe show(like the Netherllands) real open minded sexual education is the best way to prevent abortions.
No one ever claimed that we support the sin of abortion or homosexuality, but we do love the sinners who commit those acts.





Check your bible for this...hate the sin, but love the sinner.





Which is worse, turning your back on someone who has made a tough choice in his/her life, or refusing to make those issues political?
You know the bible is based in jewish religious lawand the torah... and although i not an expert on jewish law, I do know that in judiasm women have a right to sexual fufillment and independence of a sort. Ive also heard this is true in Islam.





And crazy fanatic will be crazy fanatics everywhere.
If I'm not mistaken, the Bible also says that you are not supposed to judge, and you're supposed to be accepting of other people's choices.











It also says that you're supposed to be loving, kind, and charitable. Guess it does go to show that the biggest hypocrites you'll ever meet are the Republicans sitting on the front row at church...
