I am currenty a community service major but i am not learning anything useful so i am contemplating switching to a liberal studies degree. I want to be a caseworker. Can i do this with this degree?What job can you get with a liberal studies degree?
You need a degree in social work or something similar for what you are wanting to do. A degree in liberal studies basically is a degree for someone who really couldn't decide what they wanted to major in.What job can you get with a liberal studies degree?
If you want a useful degree, liberal arts is just about the worst choice out there.
A bachelors in social work is the bare minimum, but you will need a masters for most jobs.
The Occupational Outlook Handbook has very useful information about this and many other careers. This is the page on social workers (including caseworkers) : http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos060.htm
Nothing really. Pretty useless subject
';Would you like fries with that?';
