Why do some liberal minded people get upset when others start ranting about freedoms being taken away?

Because liberals only care about the freedoms that they care about such as letting potential terrorists call anyone they want, forcing the Federal Government to use a court that went from approving 90% of the warrants to 10% of the warrants overnight. They also believe in the freedom not to work and have others cover their bills for them.Why do some liberal minded people get upset when others start ranting about freedoms being taken away?
Because nine times out of ten it is simply because they are trying to gin up their usual scare tactics rather than to bother with the effort to actually come up with good ideas or solutions.for real problems.





Ranting about freedoms disappearing is just fear mongering, with a dash of concern mongering added for flavor, nothing more.Why do some liberal minded people get upset when others start ranting about freedoms being taken away?
Although it is not wise to generalize, when it concerns' free Speech', the hypocrisy of the left is obvious and irrefutable .





They can't seem to tolerate any viewpoint other than what supports their agenda.





Case in point, 'The Fairness Doctrine', the recent debacle at North Carolina University, yesterday's 'Tax Tea party's' and anytime anything the slightest bit unsupported of Pres. Obama's programs.





I don't propose that the conservatives never fall into similar transgressions, however it is seldom as widespread or as vitriol!





Unfortunately, the left doesn't stop at trampling on free speech. It seems that lately the Constitution and The Bill of Rights have become too restrictive to their agenda and pose a similar threat!





The real crime is that the 'main stream media' is fully engaged in similar Fascist trappings.





We can only hope that the 'silent majority' awakens before we loose our freedoms!
Both sides have a hard time seeing the other point of view. The liberals are blind to overspending from the Democrats while they ranted when the Republicans spent to much.





The conservatives won't be able to see anything good about Obama. I had to begrudgingly give credit to Clinton for anything good he did. Nothing comes to mind at the moment.





I see every unnecessary spending in Washington as taking away my freedom to spend my own money as I want to. They think I owe it to society to give it to the government to spend.
Freedom, in a liberal's mind, is living in a nanny state. That's a far different definition of freedom that I'm familiar with.
The same reason some neo-cons start ranting about freedoms being taken away -- 'cause some idiot news commentator/talk-show moron told them to.





Duh.
That is the main reason why I can no longer relate to liberal ideology. It has gone WAY too far left......Communist like in many cases. Just look at the majority of the media. The ARE communist.
Ever hear of the Patriot Act? It wasn't liberals who set that up.


Besides,nobody likes a ranter.
