liberals are for free market and want low taxes, and no economic restrictions. conservatives want high taxes and a lot of restrictions on private industry.What is the difference between liberal spending policies and conservative spending?
There is no difference,well, there are small diffences, but it doesnt really matter. Under Bush, THe EPA, FDA, FBI, CIa, and countless other government agencies had their budgets increased, spending increased under bush 33% and the debt balooned.





Obama is doing everything Bush has done, but on a much larger scale, especially with all these bailouts Obama is doing. Basically, there is no difference, its all a massive scam.
Both liberals and conservatives believe in very free spending, just on different things. Liberals want to spend money on social programs and things that will help people. Conservatives want to spend money on defense and subsidies to big corporations. Also in recent years conservatives have given up their advocacy of fiscal responsibility, preferring spending and tax cuts together, the idea that you can balance the budget by spending -more- and taxing -less. Liberals have become the fiscally responsible people.





Nobody is 'pro-abortion', but liberals tend to support abortion rights more than conservatives, who would like to ban abortion. Actually the issue is much more complicated than the way we talk about it. The Republican Party has been promising to ban abortion for 30 years now, but for six years they had majorities in both houses of Congress, plus the presidency, plus a very sympathetic (to them) Supreme Court, and they did nothing! It seems pretty obvious that the Religious Right would like to ban abortion but the Republican Party is just using the issue to get their votes and money. Also the actual rate of abortion goes way down when a Democrat is in the White House and back up when we have a Republican president.
';Conservative'; spending is usually tax cuts and give aways to the Very Rich.





Liberal spending is for things we need - roads, bridges, power plants, the power grid, national forest protection...





Under Li'l W we had a freeway bridge collapse... the republicans couldn't even get an inspector on a freeway bridge - inside the United States. But they can start lots of stupid, useless and illegal wars - and torture people - THAT they can get done.
Liberals tell you that a country as great as ours COST and they like to pay as they go along. Money that is taxed goes to programs, bridges, reconstruction of America. The money goes to the ppl.





Conservatives, LIE and say they can make more jobs by giving BIG BUSINESS THE MAJORITY OF THE TAX CUTS and also the middle class by 3%. They also BORROW FROM OTHER COUNTRIES %26amp; SPEND like drunken sailors. WAIT. Which in essense is raising taxes LATER for the next administration. OF COURSE, then they SAY that all liberals want to do is RAISE YOUR TAXES %26amp; SPEND YOUR MONEY. Now each time they are elected to the executive branch (remember we have tax cuts .... that suppose to make jobs) the financial industries AND the auto industries ALL need bail outs.....! They run on personal accountability (that means no welfare, which the legislators do nothing about) BUT they come in EACH %26amp; EVERY TIME and get their WELFARE CHECK!

There is a problem with the right wingers they think because liberals support and understand issues that they CONDONE it.





If you make abortion illegal will NOT STOP ABORTIONS. It WILL START a lot of SHYSTERS taking advantage of women and they have no where to go, IF THEY LIVE TO TELL ABOUT IT!
