What is the most liberal part of the Catholic church for intellectuals seeking a commune?

I wonder if I might have a vocation as a brother either teaching classical literature and philosophy or engaging in social work; however, my religious ideas, if they exist in the form of dogma, are extremely far left. They are egalitarian in sentiment but have no real ideology. I am Roman Catholic. Is there an idea oriented order where I might apply. And how does one apply to be a brother? What is the most liberal part of the Catholic church for intellectuals seeking a commune?
Where ever it is that you renouse your faith What is the most liberal part of the Catholic church for intellectuals seeking a commune?
Blessings in your discernment.

You may wish to find an intentional community - there are several, for instance, in the St. Louis area comprised of young adults who wish to live in community and serve the surrounding neighborhoods, while not necessarily taking vows of an order. Many of these are left-leaning in their political outlook (generally left in terms of social justice as opposed to being pro-choice).

As this is mostly something that young adults, without families, go into, you should inquire at area universities' Newman Centers to see if they know of any intentional communities in the area.

The Jesuits tend to be very focused on social justice - a branch of them founded liberation theology, which is perhaps as far left as the orders get. Also, the Dominicans, while more moderate and less political, are very scholarly and you'll find them attached to universities.
Please, do not join a teaching order if you are far left in your religious beliefs. If you are going teach other Catholics, you have a responsibility to teach what the Church teaches. If you can do this, great; if you can't, then don't. The last thing young minds in the Church need is more confusion. Can you give an example of your beliefs? Because if you don't even have any clearly cut dogmas, then you're not really even Catholic.
Contact your local diocesan office for vocations.

The people there can answer your questions, help you with discerning where God is calling you, and let you know what your choices are.

For an intellectual faith I would try the Jesuits. They are huge on the intellectual side of the human mind but are also very big of the spiritual side.

There are astrophysicists that are Jesuits and a huge Array of PhD's.
